We are a chess club in Denton Texas that meets at the d20 Tavern every Tuesday from 5:30pm-10:00pm, and most Fridays from 6:30pm-12:00am! (See our Discord for Friday announcements)

Are you tired of DDOS attacks and crashing servers, tired of mis-clicks and mouse slips, can't figure out the correct key sequence to underpromote to a knight, or to eliminate your pre-moves? What about those rude chat messages when you're losing or when you're taking too much time on your move?

  • If you have one, bring it! Our regulars always bring their sets, so there are always plenty, but you can never have too many chess sets!

  • Yes, we have a wide range of skills levels and we’re all just here to play chess and have a good time

  • There is no membership fee, however, d20 charges a $5 game fee (this is how they keep the lights on). This fee is only paid once per day and goes directly to d20 Tavern
